In 2010 the England team for the Veteran Home Internationals will be selected using the results of the following races:

Northern Champs, 31st Jan, Gritstone Edges and Big Moor (SYO)
Southern Champs, 21st Feb, Lydney (NGOC)
Midland Champs, 21st March, Belvoir Estate (LEI)
JK Day 2, 3rd April, Cookworthy
JK Day 3, 4th April, Braunton Burrows
BOC, 1st May, Abraham Valley and Wolseley Park
Orienteers need to compete in at least two of these races to be considered. Greater weight will be given to the results of the JK and BOC.
If competitors run up then their results will be taken into account on a minutes/k basis. M/W35s should notify the selectors that they are now veterans if they intend to continue running M/W21.
On occasions a competitor may be recovering from injury or illness, and know beforehand that he/she will not have a good result in a selection race. In such circumstance, the competitor should let a selector know in advance, and then his/her result in that race will not be considered.
In general a ‘retired’ or ‘disqualified’ will be taken to be the equivalent of a very poor run: those wishing to be selected should take every precaution to avoid mispunching in a selection race.
Selectors: Jackie Hallett (BOK), Andy Hemsted (HOC, Chair), Tim Tett (SYO)
