Interland 2023 – Belgium – Bulletin 2

The latest bulletin for Interland 2019 – taking place in France on 10 March in the Val Joly environs (59132 Eppe-Sauvage) and in the forested foothills of the Ardennes above Saint-Michel (02 – Aisne), on the Belgian border – has been received [Interland 2019 – Bulletin 1]. The team will be published before Christmas and selected athletes will be notified individually.

The 2017 Interland match is to be held on 2 April in the Herbeumont Forest, in the Ardennes, southern Belgium, The latest bulletin is available from the following link:

The 2016 Interland Cup international against Belgium, the Netherlands and NE France is to be held on 21 February in the woods and dunes of ‘Maria ter Heide (Brasschat)’ NE of Antwerp, near the Dutch border. Bulletin 1 has been published.

The 2011 Interland match is to be held near Lübbecke in Germany on 6 March.

England has competed in this annual polyangular against two Belgian teams (Flemish and French speaking), the Dutch and the Nordrhein-Westfalische (NW Germany) team since 1995 and from last year the French Ligue Nord–Pas de Calais de course d’orientation (LNPCCO) team have joined the competition. We have managed to win each year but the margins recently have been close, especially last year. The competition will thus be a six-cornered match and the 42 person team spans age groups from W and M14 to W and M60+: basically the best one or two of the English in every class.
